The Northwestern Mutual office in Charlotte serves the Carolinas and Northern Georgia. We are headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Charlotte network office has local offices in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Asheville, North Carolina; Greenville, South Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; Columbia, South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia. Richard Worrell, the current Managing Partner, and Jim Worrell, former Managing Partner, have served the Carolinas for over 50 years of combined experience with Northwestern Mutual.

Northwestern Mutual in Charlotte has enhanced the breadth of our service offerings and expanded geographically to include more than 200 financial representatives. Our network office is one of the largest in the Northwestern Mutual system across the country, and is consistently a top provider of life, disability and long-term care insurance, annuities, and employee benefits solutions.

Because we are growing along with the Carolinas and Georgia, we are selectively looking to attract and develop high quality, motivated individuals who are committed to building an integrated Northwestern Mutual financial security practice and are dedicated to serving their clients. Northwestern Mutual CEO John Schlifske recently took the time to visit Charlotte to speak to the agency  on the history and strength of Northwestern Mutual, and how that translates into our financial representatives continuing to successfully serve the community.

Network Office Hosts UNC Chapel Hill Men's Basketball Coach Roy Williams

        

As part of Northwestern Mutual’s partnership with the NCAA, office in Charlotte recently hosted UNC Chapel Hill Men’s Baskebtall Coach Roy Williams for a brunch with financial representatives and guests. Coach Williams spoke on his struggles and success in both his personal life and professional career to over 200 people at Quail Hollow Club.

James R. Worrell receives Distinguished Service Award from Central Piedmont Community College

May 16, 2013 - CPCC President, Dr. Tony Zeiss (right), presented former Managing Partner James  R. Worrell, Sr. (left) the Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his continued extensive support of the college. CPCC has also recently named the Worrell Building on the College’s Central Campus, as well as the Worrell Financial Services Institute at the Harris Conference Center on the College’s Harris Campus. Northwestern Mutual Helps Build Sensory Room for Easter Seals UCP

In March 2013, the Easter Seals UCP Children's Center held its Grand Opening for a multi-sensory environment room. Richard Worrell, managing partner, served as the chairman of the fundraising committee to build the room, which will be open to the public and work with children with all types of disabilities in the community. With the help of the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, Richard let a campaign that raised nearly $400,000 in donations for the first multi-sensory room of its type on the east coast.
